This was again proved today when a woman held the door for me and Vincent on what many would consider a crummy day.

The snow was falling and the wind was blowing as we made our way across the parking lot, and the woman waited for us, her coat blowing.

It was a pleasant and unexpected surprise.

While out, we have also had shopping carts pushed to us and Vincent has received many compliments.

A nice surprise came last week while eating lunch with Mike.

A woman came to our table and gave us a coupon for baby shampoo.

"I'm not going to use this, but I thought you might," she said smiling at Vincent.

I thanked her and she went on to explain that she always cuts baby coupons and gives them to moms she sees.

What a nice idea.
