Black shorts and a baby blue sleeveless shirt.
This is my favorite running outfit. Not because I'm a fashion plate but because it's comfortable. And when you're on the run, if you're bunching up, it's not a good thing for you or anyone running behind your behind.
If you run regularly, chances are your favorite shirts and shorts have lost a little luster from multiple spins in the washer and dryer.
This is a great time to replace your old running duds or add a few new things for inspiration. The clearance racks are full of running gear on sale so stock up. Cold weather may be around the corner but you'll be glad you bargain shopped well into fall or when you're running inside on the treadmill.
If you don't have the right gear, running isn't fun so treat yourself to something new and comfortable. I often buy the same styles, just in different colors. That way, you know it's going to be something you'll wear.
I've learned not to buy multiples of one style before actually taking said shirt or shorts on an actual "test run." Shorts have a way of getting shorter as you run — 'nuf said.
