It’s too bad it’s not the other guy who’s leaving

.
Word comes from FOX News that Alan Colmes is leaving the “Hannity & Colmes” comedy hour, on which he played the neo-liberal to Sean Hannity’s conniving, crooked conservative. It’s just too bad it’s not the latter on his way out along with the likes of serial liar Ann Coulter and pill-popping racist and current radio carnival barker, Rush Limbaugh.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

When they first arrived on the scene, The Jimi Hendrix Experience was rightfully all the rage. Along with The Who, The Experience was a groundbreaking musical trio who took the music business by storm. One of the reasons for the group’s (albeit) short-lived success was the work of drummer Mitch Mitchell, who died recently at 62.

OBVIOUSLY, THE ECONOMY ISN’T ALL THAT NEEDS FIXING

The Southern Poverty Law Center reports that barely three weeks since America elected its first black president, over 200 incidents of noose hangings, racist graffiti and death threats have struck dozens of towns across the country, including cross burnings, assassination betting pools and effigies of President-elect Barack Obama.

Many of these incidents emanate from America's most potent symbol of racial hatred, the Ku Klux Klan, which appears to be attempting to reassert itself with this recent spate violence, after decades of disorganization and obscurity.

b. Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded. "

The word Liberal stands for Freedom, Free Thought, and a Free market. But Rush, Hannity and all the other Republicans have adopted that message and made it their own. If their definition of Liberal means, those who are against the majority, and those who intend to cause trouble, then they, and the Republican Party have become the Liberals. "

" Wow, Jimmy. A little cranky today? Hopefully none of your co-workers cross you today. "Pill-popping racist"? Sheeesh.
The KKK acts are, of course, reprehensible. This goes back to my point that this country(even those who like to consider themselves tolerant and politically correct) are WAY too focused on Obamas race. The constant talk of "First Black President", etc, likely adds fuel to the fire of the human garbage like the KKK. Would they have still committed the acts? Probably. But, why add fuel to the fire and constantly focus on race? "

" Obama better institute martial law, cause we know the extreme danger posed by ropes tied into nooses is huge. Come on, man! I bet in San Francisco alone, Bush was hung and burned in effigy over 200 times! The KKK is at most 10,000 fat, tattooed hillbillies. They are not any kind of threat to America. Muslim terrorists number in the millions, with supporting countries that have billions of dollars and that want to destroy and inslave us. That is a threat, not the KKK. "

" Jimmy, I usually like reading your blog but today is an exception. Your comments are just plain hateful. Are you and BGS the same person? "

" It's a good thing we have the kinder, gentler, less vitriolic left in power now....no hate ever emanates from the likes of you lefties....you guys just kill me....If you listened to Hannity, he's hardly conniving, certainly he manipulates emotions, but then who in this business doesn't Jimmy, read below for an example? Rush, hardly a racist....

OBVIOUSLY, THE ECONOMY ISNT ALL THAT NEEDS FIXING

"... Sean Hannitys conniving, crooked conservative. Its just too bad its not the latter on his way out along with t... pill-popping racist and current radio carnival barker, Rush Limbaugh." "

" when Obama's brown shirts institute his new 'fairness' doctrine, the only news you will hear on the controlled airways will be all Obama praise all day long balanced by blaming bush for all the ills america faces. "
